Quite expensive too !

Not if you compare with the 6 pot LED lights from z centre.

Well for starters, those photos are pinched from clearcorners' website, secondly, this is pearoast. ;)

Not tried them, but there's a chap on here that might be making some soon. I don't like the fact that the LEDs do not go right to the edges of the clustors. You have nice smoothing semi-cirular edging on the way the light emits on standard clustors, these are just two rectangular shapes. If the LEDs followed the contours a little better then I'd be more interested.

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

It is picky, but the way OEM lights look when illuminated at night is really sweet. Although the LEDs emit a more crisp and clear light, you loose those really smooth looking edges.

Hopefully the ones that the forum member on here is designing will overcome that.

I know, which is why I am hoping the new ones this chap will be developing will overcome that.

but arnt they orange turn signals, its like going forward but backwards at the same time

Looks like all they have done is fit the led type bulbs into the original holders,

anyone can do that for about £50

I agree with Si they look tacky

Yep but don't believe they are what they say they are, look at the pics and read the ad, where are the 99 spec pinstripes?

Put cheap bayonet leds in your own and get the same look.

I didn't say they looked tacky, they just don't suit fit the edges as would the OEM lights do.

Each of the light units is completely packed with hundreds of high intensity LED's, nearly 200 per segment!

Doesn't sound like bulbs to me.

Well it might be picky but TBH.... You are right. They are not briiliant if you ask me for that money and anyone with an ounce of get up and go could make them yourself. If someone is doing it then I bet they will set up a "how to do it" thread.

I got the 4 pots as you know pete and they are IMO spot on...LOL. excuse the pun. I could make those if I hade a pair of lights to do it with?

If you want some pete get me some lights and what I need and I will do it at cost with no charge by me?

I looked into doing this before i bought the 6 pot venoms and it doesnt look an easy job. Also the led's alone worked out quite alot.

Hey Viniboy - I'd be very very interested, any chance of offering that deal to me?

Hopefully - Dave

If the brake lense was kept red instead of clear, and added the extra leds to the sides to make the light rounded like Funkysi says then I would buy them and pay more than that for them ! ....and even more if they used genuine 99spec lights.

..and no you cant get that from led bayonet bulbs. You can see every led light up inside all the way to the edges, it makes a big difference.
