Regardless of that fact, it would have to be about 40 degrees solid for the next 5 or 6 days for the top level to dry out. Ground is so saturated it's just sitting on and under the surface.

 

Even if it's hot and sunny over the weekend it will be an absolute disgusting mess.

Just been to pick my daughter up from school and water is spewing up into the air from drain covers in the road!

Jez.

Just heard on the radio its the worst rain in Northants for 10 years.

I've taken the decision, that, considering I've got the kids with me this weekend, I'm now no longer going to JAE at all this year. I'm just 30 miles north of the Showground, and it's been teaming it down here this afternoon, so I can imagine what it's like down there!!

 

Not bad, all three shows I wanted to attend this year are total wash-outs! :(

There was but for only about an hour, it was hot for weeks before and during and after the show.

It rained last year, but one thing that didn't happen last year was the 2 months heavy rain preceding it!

Just spoken to Fuggles and he tells me that although they had three and a half hours of rain today at the east of england show ground the water has all drained away due to the improved drainage that has been put in over the last year

Im still going come rain or shine etc

It's a shame the rain is going to keep away people who had such a great time at this years meets at Japfest and Silverstone.

 

Oh, I'm sorry... Did they miss those too? :D

 

I think some of you are missing the point, rain or shine it's going to be a great party! Just washed the car and I'll be on my way early tomorrow morning.
