ALSO I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE BACK OF THE ENGINE AND THE 2 OUTER ROCKER COVERS HAVE A HALF MOON SHAPED RUBER SEAL IN THE END

COULD ANY ONE TELL ME WHAT GOES IN THE END OF THE OTHER 2 AS THERE IS TO BIG HOLES IN THE END

Variable Valve timing solinoids are round things with wires coming off them.

Very vague i know but i dont have picies sorry.

here is a pic of the rear of the engine, take no notice of the numbered arrows they are for something else but the VVTC solinoids are the black round object with the white wire, next to where number 11 arrow is pointing. 1 on each side, hope it helps

 

And where have we seen this car before Ebay?

I remember seeing that one recently. What was the score with it 300zxtubs? what have you replaced if you don't mind me asking?

Also make sure you have replaced the Half moon rubbers with new ones or they will leak.

yes it was mine had it on ebay then decided i couldnt sell it so kept and hear goes

i sent the engine away to have the bottom end done cause im not good with bottom ends

when i got it back i fitted

new

cambelt, headgasket, warter pump, auto tensioner,roller bearings

and turbos alsoevery singel gasket on the engine is new from nissan

sprayed littel bits up but not ott just recived polished plenum

back today i repleaced all sensors all hoses all solinoids etc new downpipes made for new turbos (uprated ball bearing ones )

and then changed usual odds and sods like oil filter etc etc

What did it have instead?! Check out the traders section MJP do them I think. Or main stealers I guess.
