Who done yours and how much did it cost?

Zecentre the cheapest place to buy the leather kits? how much did it cost you to have yours fitted?

The Funksta put a link to a place in the US that do pretty much anything you want, and they were rather cheap.

Any idea what the link was mate ?

Zcentre are pretty expensive in comparison to others that supply kits, but a lot cheaper than having a Professional retrimmer do it all.

 

A lot of us have used Pete at Nippon Auto http://www.nipponauto.co.uk £450 for 2+2 seats in any design/colour.

 

Its a LOT of hard work to DIY fit yourself though.

Audioscape are probably the best place in East Anglia, expect to pay circa £2k for their work. Zcentre and other kits are fine but sat next to a quality job the difference sticks out a mile.

I emailed that guy Legrath said hes not currently doing it at the moment, says its just a side job he does...

 

No way can i pay 2k for it either...

SWZ have a Retrimmer that works for Rolls Royce that they call in, I've only seen his job on one 300zx so far, but its was perfect quality and he has done many others in the past. He has a portfolio of pictures of all his work.

 

He quoted around £1500 for complete seats and panels, but would be cheaper for SWB.

 

He also does a lot of embossing, and has retrimmed complete Dashboards, impressive job.

Those and Catskins are by far the best I've seen. Much better quality than the others I've seen. Double stitching and much nicer edging.

Does the £1500 include the learther kits then ? or just his price to fit ?

Seen there work in the flesh and its amazing!! Whatever style, colour stiching you want.

 

Dont know there prices but you get what you pay for, if you plan to keep the car for a while then dont skimp for a 50% leather set, it just wont last and as said above when they are next to each other theres no comparison!

 

Search andy line to see what they do to interiors, thats his ideas put inside the zed so may not suit everyone but it gives you an idea on the difference between covers and a real retrim.

Supply & fit. But not kits, he custom retrims from scratch for every customer.

Ah ok so thats not the kit the Zcentre sells then ? He supplys his own kits ?

hey guys ive got the email address for a guy that will make the interior for you in leatherette and complete interior is about 500quid but you have to fit it yourself! any colour with decals and he gives you step by step instructions for fitting! the pics he sent me seem to look very very nice, email me if anyone wants the address for him! 500 quid kits includes all the cubby box door cards etc :D

I got these form luke, he also managed to supply me with another spare hide so I could do the boot interior and some other bits. After doing the boot in leather and he gators for gear shift and hand brake, I still have enough left to do things like the sun visors, and targa lock panels.
