got a toad alarm/immobiliser fitted now this is not responding so the zed is lifeless :confused:

battery ok lights work etc

have checked the fob all ok

normally I have to press the fob for the ignition to come on but get nothing :confused:

 

any ideas guys

try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect. its possible the alarm ma have been spiked. easiest things first.

but remeber to take the keys out of the car whilst dojung this, dont want them locked in now do we lol

I had something similar a while back and I solved it by taking the batteries out of the fob and then refitting them. It came back to life immediately. It was as though they were not making contact although the small light on the fob illuminated when the buttons were pushed but got no response from the car.

Could be that the remote fob has possibly dropped it's rolling code. Fob may need to be re-programmed
