Refurbed my wheels a while back,

 

Started to seal the split rims & threadlock 60 nuts & bolts per wheel :mac1:

 

Took me about 1.5 hours per wheel .............lol

Looks good, although would have had the lip mirror polished. I know how time consuming split rims are. I had the same amount in mine and mine are recessed behind a lip. So a real PITA

Yea, but i did it myself. Had the lip on the rears polished though :)

refurbed my own volks rims, all those bolts are a right pain eh

 

 

Yes total pain, but great satisfaction of DIY :)

BTW... there are only 40 bolts per wheel, dont exagerate :nelson:

Looking good there Pete, it just seems like 60 ...... lol ;)

what sealant did you use to seal the split rim as i'm gonna do my blitz z1 and maybe have the rim chromed
