I'm having a bit of trouble making my mind up about what car to get next.

Please help me out by using the poll above.

If you have any specific reason why I should (or shouldn't) go for one marque in particular please post below.

Hey Wozzer, I thought you might have something to say!

Spongey, I have got this car pretty much perfect now. I think I am just having a bit of a mid/late twenties breakdown! LOL

I have realised that there is very little out there that is even near as good all round package as the Zed, not until you start talking stupid money. It's got the looks it's got the power and mine handles very well.

P.S. The missus is trying to get me to buy her a Figaro, she must be fvckin joking!

If I had to chose one of those it would be the Honda S2000.

I did consider an S2000 as a daily driver some time back just because it is fast-ish, RWD and convertible. Also being Japanese helped a bit.......Instead I bought an SLK; slower and not as good in the twisties but that folding hard top just won the day.

So there; S2000. The others just don't get a look in IMO

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

...................I'd not driven my Z yesterday for about 2 weeks and decided to take it out for a quite drive. Sit there thinking about selling up...but got back in it again, had a drive, loved it, thought about stuff I still want to do to it...and though, if I sold it, what would I replace it with? I honestly couldn't think of anything better, even if I threw another £5k on top. So, it's wait until I can gather the cash for an Honda NSX or Ferrari 348

They seem like worthy upgrades for me I guess.

Wise words from Si (again).

Sometimes, if I haven't driven my ZX for a week or two, I (foolishly) think why do I bother to keep it. Then I drive is for just a minute or so and remember. It's a great car - way better than my other cars. Plus as it has never let me down, I still have more confidence in it.

Honda Integra DC5 (FWD) - Fastest track car out of the box I think due to handling and brakes, etc. Extremely good brakes. I just don't want a FWD though.

Nissan Silvia s15 (RWD turbo) - I like these although they don't really excite me

Honda S2000 (RWD cabrio) - Great engine, great handling. I'd choose this one. Awesome high reving engine (let it sing..), loads of people prefer big heavy cars because they are more imposing and 'look mean', but a light car with high power beats anything for driving pleasure and performance.

Subaru Impreza (2 door 4WD turbo) - Scoobies don't do it for me. Too much of a bone head choice. My mate let me drive his and I was pleasantly surprised by the performance but they just don't capture my imagination like the competition.

More interesting opinions.

I think I have decided to keep the zed for now (unless someone makes me a very good offer).

I think I would have ended up choosing the S2000 in the end. It's the RWD top down fun that was appealing.

Royal you are right about the scooby, they are quick but they either seem boring or ugly!

s15 please without a flutter at the other

dc5(ok bit brash, fun, NA :()

scooby(common)

s200(hairdresser)

s15(turbo RWD tunable, drifty, tracky, differant, i have seen one on the uk roads unless at a meet, individuality, IMO

what about a skyline

Common he may aswell buy a scooby, there are as many skylines where i live as the ford focus

And most skylines are UGLY as hell. Only the R34 has any appeal for me and they are ridiculously expensive...
