I'm having a bit of trouble making my mind up about what car to get next.

Please help me out by using the poll above.

If you have any specific reason why I should (or shouldn't) go for one marque in particular please post below.

But after getting bored of such a great driver's car, won't you quickly get bored of something with increased scuttle shake? AKA, S2000....the Scooby has a nasty interior, but will you get bored of that quickly? Dunno.

I know. I know.

I have been having second thoughts about selling up.

Maybe I should just keep it and get it sprayed black, that would be a change!

i been threatening to get rid of mine for months, all these others cars i want to try lol, it never happens though lol i can never make my mind up!!

Or, add some more HP?? Get a retrim? Change the wheels? You might fall in love with it again.

I'd not driven my Z yesterday for about 2 weeks and decided to take it out for a quite drive. Sit there thinking about selling up...but got back in it again, had a drive, loved it, thought about stuff I still want to do to it...and though, if I sold it, what would I replace it with? I honestly couldn't think of anything better, even if I threw another £5k on top. So, it's wait until I can gather the cash for an Honda NSX or Ferrari 348

They seem like worthy upgrades for me I guess.

I have only recently had the alloys refurbed and I love them!

It has been booked in with the mechanic to sort out the small boost issue, so should have around 350/360bhp when done.

I think I am going to go and test drive a few things before I make up my mind.

I agree with you Si, there is very little that I could consider a step up from the Zed...

Got to be the S15 the rest are gay!

Have you considered the 350z or is that a bit to expensive? Cant believe its not been mentioned.

Here's another idea....if you have a spare £3 - £4k...you 'could' buy either a DC4 ITR or lesser model Impreza turbo, as well as have the Z, live with them for a while and see how you feel. Main reason being, if you sold your Z which is, I'm sure in your eyes, a good worry free Z (which are not easy to source these days), then regretted it, you may end up purchasing another, not so good example.

It's just I've read, many a time, people going off to buy different things that aren't really an upgrade from what they've got, regretted it, missed the Z and then have ended up either buying another, or missing it.

With some of the above, it's almost along the lines of going from a BMW M3, to a VW Corrado.

which is exacytly why i knocked the idea of an r32 on the head. good advice there Si!

Just don't do it. There someone said it.

We must have a meet up at some stage so you can remind yourself how good the Z is.

That is my biggest worry. Getting rid of a very tidy looking, fast, rare, track proven, head-turning motor just to end up with something dissapointing.

Fvck, I think I am talking myself into keeping the Zed. Damn my inability to make decisions... :wack: :wack: :wack:

depends how much you want something different i guess, every second hand car is a gamble, you must be falling out with the 300 to a certain extent to be considering swapping, i guess one day you will inevitably have to seel up, just need to ask yourself how much you want it

Evo 7
 someones been bitten by the evo bug :D

mgh297 Havnt you just finished making the zed yours? great wheels, lovely bodywork and it even looks pretty fast considering its red ;)

Spend a few bob on a motorway eater and the rest on the zed, future proofing it by changing all suspension or undersealing it and so on so its a car that will last you years and years.

If your set on selling it then go for the S15, beats the rest looks wise IMO

out of the 4 cars it would be the silvia by miles i love this car the other 3 dont come close IMO
