nice places? all of cornwall is nice bud! thing is you just need to drive, all places are within reach and some fantastic coast that you would struggle to find abroad IMO

portreath

sandy acres is where her brother actually lives if you know where that is?

Cheers for the A30 advice, ill stick on that then, every so often he sends up us pictures and it looks fooking amazing down there :(

It wont be piss up weekend as its just me and her spending a quality weekend together so dont need any city nights out, just some beaches and places to eat.

Newquay and Mevagissy are shit-holes IMO but not as bad as many other seaside towns in the UK.

Rest of the county is nice though

North coast is my favourite - Rock, Padstow, Boscastle etc. Tintagel has gone down hill a bit over the last couple of years but it still has a certain "charm" plus I love the castle headland :D

Looe, Polperro and Fowey on the south coast are lovely places as well.

There are some very nice inland villages worth visiting too, plus it's a great place to "use" a 300zx :D

Enjoy!

Richard :hyper:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

"first time"???

My god do you know what you're missing???? lol

Ye... lots of traffic/caravaners

lol, that's why i never go down till september. nobody apart from locals, everyone's far more chilled out (because they're not working flat out) and the water is warmer :)

Well I grew up down there and lived there on off for 30yrs and the only reason I'd go near the A30 in the summer is to get there or to get away! Its a great Zed road if you drive it either early in the morning or late at night as the roads are clear then, otherwise its a nightmare. There are loads of good roads along the coasts. St Just is near some of the best roads around. The route from St Ives to Lands End is beautiful and a great drive. The route from Lands End back to Penzance is a great blast, be wary first time though as its quite demanding with some unexpected tight bends after fast straights and a few areas prone to being wet from rain run off.

Went down there for the weekend last week. We had a great time. Have a look at the pics on the forum. Some great places to park up and take photos. If you get a chance pop into the seal sanctuary as it is a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Try and meet up with some of the lads down there as theyt are great fun.

I'm sure royal will recommend the garlic bread at lands end.
