Hi can you tell the year of manufacture from the chassis plate or anything else ,i dont think my v5 is right mot says year of manufacture says 94 but its on a h plate 91 .IT was mot,d when imported with jap plate on ,then mot was alterd when registered my mot has the chassis code in the reg space crossed out with new reg plate h reg .Its a swb slicktop import thanks taff.

date of manufacture is stamped on the plastic parts such as the interior rear light covers (in the boot), they are the easiest to get to. I didnt know this til i went to see AndyP and he pointed out a few things on mine not consistent with its reg !

easiest is to check the labels on the seat belts..it shows the year of manufacture
