1973 Volkswagen Beetle 1303S for my 18th Birthday in.....wait for it.....1991.

I've still got it :)

Could do with a rebuild though :(

i had about 6 mini's before i was 17, then I drove my dads audi 80 when he was at work the day before we were going down south and crashed it at speed, he kicked f**k out of me. He ended up buying a 1.3 metro in a sought of rusty colour (or was it rust?) and orange velour interior to go on holiday in.

My first owed and legal drive was a y reg gold astra mk1 1.2s that was my baby. I swapped this for a bright yellow beach buggy with a 1.6 vw beetle engine sticking out of the back. I should never have sold that. I have been looking for one just like it since and there arnt any.

O well i have my zed now.

My nan bought me my aunties 2.8 MKIII Capri for my 16th virthday to do up. Fiesta was the daily drive but that ended up on it's roof after i thought i could rally around the lanes by the industrial estate

1973 1.1 mini, great fun to drive. But not even enough power to pull a lolly stick out of a donkeys arse

I had a black 3lt capri i think i was about 21 that was fun I could handle it quite well considering little experience in powerful rwd cars. Sounded the dogs *****x too. Unfortunatley I look back and cringe at thinking I was the bee's knee's. I think I went back to my childhood and i was Micheal Knight and my car was K.I.T.T

nooo must have been something wrong with your mini mate those 1.1s mini's had alot of go in them for a little car.

1973 MK1 Ford Escort 1.3.. Light blue, bucket seats, wolfrace wheels, a Pye cassette player (no radio), and a wooden gear knob.. It was about 20 years ago now, and I loved it!! :D

a volkswagon derby 1100 bought for £50 with 60k on the clock and 12 months mot.

had a crack inside the block so only did 10 mpg and sold it for 100 quid 6 months on lol

White VW beetle 1962. Never let your old man get you your first car as that's what he inflicted on me. My mate bought his first car same time, same price, also B reg but his was an MGB Roadster.

Q: who pulled more birds?

:D lol scotty you cant compare a 1973 1.1 mini to a 3lt v6 24 valve quad cam twin turbo.

Gio I cant even start to guess mmmmm was it your mate?

cortina 1600E

ahhhhh, the savage version  i always fancied a cologne capri but only ever seen 1 for sale.
