hi i'm looking to get a 300zx and was wondering what the performance figures are for the non turbo and are they very thirsty cheers jay

I'm just moving back from a turbo to a non turbo and i've owned both.

As with all 3 litre cars they aren't exactly what you'd call economical!

I have squeezed 34mpg at 65mph on cruisecontrol without the aircon on my old na on the motorway and managed 600 miles on one tank of petrol.

TT you're looking at 26mpg at the most at 70mph

Performance is good, both TT and NA are close up to 90 then afterwards then the TT pulls away (something to do with the gearing i think)

You're looking about 6-6.5 to 60mph

Yeah, TT id say around 22 mpg or less for me!!!! Book the TT is 5.9 to 60 i think. UK models are down on power from the jap and autos are down on power from manuals.

UK models are down on power from the jap
Wrong! Their power figres are exactly the same and jap versions have a limted top speed, which of course can be removed.

It's the US TT models that are rated at 300bhp. Euro and JDM cars, as Glenn has said have the bhp figure of 280.
