ok, another query i have....

Whenever i apply my brake above 40mph, i get a bit of a harsh shudder.

I thinking along the lines of warped discs, and since i dont know if it's the front or rear ones, i was looking to change them all.......just to be on the safe side!

Anyway.....i've EBC discs and mintex pads on zcentre and just wondered what experience people have on these????

Could be your tension rod bushes, do a quick search bud ;)

Sticky piston as in your brake callipers.

Bushes are pretty easy to change if you have access to a press or a large vice :)

minted, cheers guys.

It's only the steering wheel that shakes. So it looks like a new set of bushes, discs and pads are getting ordered on monday morning!!!!

And yeah, i have access to a press, i work in a nuclear power station!!!!! lmao

Mine did this when I had EBC green stuff pads on and as soon as I changed them for the Hawks it stopped. Might be worth trying this first before you go to town on it

im not too sure which pads it's running just now, but im thinking of changing them anyway (for ease of mind)

just a wee update......i changed my discs and pads the other day and the shuddering had stopped.

However, a number of bushes looked worn so it looks like a bush kit will be getting fitted when i do the suspension in a few weeks time!
