had my arches rolled yesterday courtesy of Phil at http://archenemy.co.uk/. I found that my 285's were just catching the lip on heavy compressions or very hard cornering. I also wanted a bit more space should I want a bigger tire or need to add spacers to clear a rear brake upgrade.

I have to say I was very impressed with the standard of work and with Phil's professional approach to the whole job. Most of the work is spent prepping the arches to minimise the risk to the paint / body.

Here are a few pics:

pass side done with wheel

Mark's (Topless) car ready to start

As you can see there's loads of space now, and as part of the rolling there's a slight pull to each arch to give a bit more space. Battery died so haven't got any more pics :(

Unfortunately, yesterday was also the first day the car has ever refused to start on me :wack: So Phil & Mark were drafted in to help wheel the car on/off the drive. Finally traced it down to the coolant sensor  , as the car would catch and then die. My suspicion is that because of the dodgy connection the ECU was dumping extra fuel in and causing it to flood, though I've not heard of this happening before. (only tried it as I heard the sub fan kick in late last night)

A good clean and charging the battery overnight since we drained it from all the cranking and all was well again today.

Nice job that.

Is it me the camera angle or do you have lots of negative canber on the back.

camera angle, it wouldn't have rubbed in the first place if there was that much neg camber :)

I have adjustable arms everywhere so all the geometry is bang on.

Costs are on the web site with a small discount as there were 2 of us

just looked at the website, all explained.

would you do this if you were to have a wide arch kit fitted?

no, as the wide arch kit removes most of the standard arch anyway so you won't get rubbing

Have got to agree james, phil was professional to the last, wouldn't have any hesitation recommending him to others!

Nice one

Do you have a side on view of before and after. I'm just wondering how different it looks as well as the difference it makes.

didn't do a proper before and after, but if you look at the ring pics you can there's more space around the tire. There's a slight pull on the arch but it's very difficult to see, and coupled with the removal of the lip gives 10-15mm extra clearance.

I'm very happy as it gives me the space without changing the lines of the car :D

I want this done on my swb but im looking for a flare as well i know this is probably going to crack the paint .Machines orange pentroof zed has a nice arch flare going on.
