It's rather weird, strange errrrmmmmmmm well I must say I like the way the engine looks. Not a great fan of that shade of green remains' me of pea's that have been over cooked.

It's very much like 3 cars joined at the hip if you get my meaning, very very strange

Blurgh, that's feckin disgusting! Jo Brand in a leotard would be a more attractive picture. Serious lack of taste going there...IMHO. Lambo doors are absolute feckin gash. Nasty nasty mod.

I'd sooner drive a clapped out Skoda Favorit than be seen dead in that.

might look alright in white lol

In white? It would be even worse. It needs a disgusting colour to make it look that bad. It would be a waste of good paint if it was done in white! LOL

Si, at the end of the day, and no matter what anyone else says about you, I think you're a top bloke for sticking to your guns in what you believe!!

...you tell me you like it?

;)

Oh God NO!! Defo not my cup of tea, although maybe some bits on their own would suit in the right place, but not all together like that!

Yeah, JUST the bare car without the airfix kit and half a boat grafted to itself! LOL That lot if removed would look best in a wheelie bin, or the Bridgwater Canal!

That rear spoiler looks terrible, so do the lights...

That is nasty, every last bit of it...

It still looks shit regardless...

si, i was just wondering what you think is an adequate level to take the modifications of a 300zx to, as you seem so negative towards these examples.

do you think that 300s should not be spoiled or experimented on?

have you ever seen a similar show car effort and liked the final result?

not a dig, just curious to know what your 'ideal 300zx' would look like as you seem to be a man that knows what he likes (and doesn't like!).

Whilst not all the mods on this zed are to my taste I can appreciate the time, effort and creativity that have gone into this car. I like the Supra rear lights but not the Veilside spoiler, I like the creativity of using the 350z headlights but not the bumper that goes under them etc. There are a lot of conflicting parts on this car for everyone to like it but i would suggest that the guy who built it was aiming to build a car that HE likes and it's just a bonus if others like it too. If you were to ask him about the looks of a standard car I'm sure he would be of the same opinion as Si is about this one.

Who should say what looks good and what doesn't? At the end of the day there are purists and modifiers and they will never agree on anything.

I realise that I'm not a well established member of this club and anticipate that I will probably come under fire for my opinion, but I have one, and I have made it.

I'll step down of my box now. (It just gets on my goat a bit when someones hard work gets completely slated with no positive comments at all).

P.S. Love the colour and the suicide doors. :D

Having a 300zx is not always about trying to see how much you can change it to look like something completely different. You don't see the 911 boys grafting various bits from the parts bin on their cars etc....But I guess in the same respect, it's not all about being standard. BUT, IMHO, I think it looks vile and has ruined what was originally a very pretty car. It's a view...this thread wouldn't be here if it wasn't for people's views on cars etc.

I love the Z32 for what it looks like not for how I could turn it into something like that. It's just a point of view. The US Z scene is more gear towards the cars as they are rather than then max power modding crew.

BUT. I do like a modded Z. Just the extreme varients with lairy paintjobs and fibreglass stuck all over them is not my bag. Cool wide arch Zs, nice wheels, subtle additions can add to the car. Personally like big power Zs with subtle and smooth touches.

:)

My idea of a perfectly modified Z.

Well said that man :)

Good points made there, Its not for me but I can allways appreciate how much work goes into making a car let alone the effort gone into this one even if I think its slightly OTT.

If people didnt push the boundrys we would all be driving the same style/colour cars. Sounds fun doesnt it
