THEY WILL DO ANYTHING THE CUSTOMER ASKS AND I HAVE ONLY EVER HEARD GOOD REPORTS BACK FROM THERE QUALITY OF WORK.

I was thinking of getting a couple of the bonnet vents like in the pic off the Z31 having 1 each side and turning them around to let the heat out

No, there's none of my thoughts or opinions there actually. ;)

I don't mind them to be honest, ie on James300's old car they looked very very good. But don't think Joely's car would look better with them than it does now....that's an opinion. ;)

FFS bud ..it's not about how it look's ..it's about ..the COOLING ....;)

...

If you want it solely for cooling then you want a large vent in the nose panel and a huge cutout at the rear of the bonnet. You'll hence get a flow through of air. It'll draw the heat out rather than let it trickle out. ;)

you havent seen it yet si... it looks pretty pants atm... gettin sorted to get my colour change and im thinkin the louvres will go nicely... However, kaz has now got mod fever since silverstone and wants to bling up her scooby!... look what she just robbed off the budget today... crystal sidelight/indicator/side repeater pack £100 - STI rear lights £240 - White... yes white 18's £1k!.. pestering about retro fitting air con and getting a crazy sound system in it!

help!

though as she bought some sti rear lights i did get my 99 spec rears as a bargaining present :smw:

the grey z already had a respray budgeted... but it also needed a manwell conversion, new tubs, lots of corrosion removal and it had enterprise mileage... the extra it cost to sell it and buy this was far cheaper than repairing the grey zed and i have the added bonus of a supposed 'low mileage' ;)

so the respray budget still exists... candy purple pearl btw b4 you ask... unless my tastes change before next summer!

i mean cmon... you didnt think i buy another zed that was red with the intention of keeping it red did you! ;)

Hmmm..if only ! I've got no shortage of cold air going in the front - just need to find a way to let the hot air escape, preferably without cutting into the bonnet cos imho I think they detract from the smooth lines which make the Zed look so good to start with.

No question they're a good idea though! It was almost certainly the heat that caused my old auto box to let go!
