First off sorry this has taken so long to get up, I know alot of ppl are waiting to see this happen.

 

Secondly sorry for missing out Yarmouth on the poll for the location, i can see that a few ppl were upset by this, this was a genuine mistake by me. Maybe instead of The Isle of sheppy for the 'put the Zed's to bed for the winter' party we can go to Yarmouth instead.

 

Anyway on to the dates.

 

JAE is on the 20th - 22nd of July i believe billing is 14th - 15th so we need to decided as an area if we try for something before these dates or after them, if it's before then we/i only have a bout 4 week to arrange it ifit's after it gives us a little more time.

 

So the preposed dates are as follows:-

 

 

7th/8th of July (first week of July)

 

or

 

5th/6th of August (first week of August)

 

leaving it late it to august means that the end of summer party might not actually be in the summer! and the weather might be starting to get a bit poo.

Neil, I've driven to Yarmouth a few times in the last year for work and its a son of a bitch to do from Essex. Your looking at 3 hours minimun with good traffic drive time.

 

Brighton is far easyer as its motorway all the way pretty much! Hour and a half tops.

Gotta agree with this - AA Routefinder shows Brighton's about an hour from Thurrock (62 miles)

2 hr from brighton...no chance unless your doing a routemap for the yarmouth on the isle of wight...its probably easier n quicker to get to france and possibly cheaper than the solent ferry...:D

no way i done wolverhampton in 2hours from essex, Yarmouth strait up the A12 prob take same amount of time i recon

Its just how the A12 is mate, after Ipswich your lucky at ANY time of day to average 30mph in either direction, its voted the worst road in england!

ok ok... i'll listern to the masses, you want a party in Brighton ...so beit, same times same dates just From the Chafford Hundrad to brighton in stead,. as i said it really makes no difference for me, i went down to Brighton to pick up the Mrs's Scooby, think it took about 3 hours door to door, so with a stop off at the chafford hundrad makes a nice day of it. i'm gonna close this thread now as ppl are just going to keep going on, i'll start another one with all the details on and ppl can then just say if they're coming or not.
