help!, i have the original rubber rear spoiler which the last owner destroyed by using a power washer on removing the paint, is it possible to obtain a replacement ? how easy are they to remove ? what do you recommend?

fibreglass replacement can be had from the zcentre, and these wont soak up water and flake off the paint. Origonal one is a bitch to remove.

removing rear spoiler click here you will need to remove the trim around the inside of tail gate first before you unbolt the spoiler, but if it was anything like mine the bolts where rotten anyway, the hardest part was getting it unstuck from the body

yes its got the tail gate skin on it as well, only as it was already done when i got the car, it was smooth and i just added the spoiler over it, but you dont have to use the tail gate skin you can fill and paint the holes and just get the perspex strip for the back edge of tail gate

where would you suggest the best place is to get the tail skin from and does it incorporate the brake light?

As already said the z centre is the place to go they also do an exact replica in fibreglass of your original spoiler

The skin from Zcentre does not, but the patern rear spoiler does.

 

RainbowZ has fitted a high level brakelight to his tailgate skin and it looks great.
