this is something the committee have debated for a while,

 

we have some funds available, how much do you think we should pay someone to give the site a overhaul? to redo the forum theme and graphics

 

bare in mind all the graphics so far have been done by myself (colour blind and design inhibited)

from where ime sitting "iff it aint broke dont fix it" imho whatever you do dont make it like some of the usa sites,just too hard to browse :confused: and please dont use red on black,for some reason my eyes just dont work in that format

the plainer the better... when forums get too colourful and cluttered - it makes it harder to use and read..

yup i agree this forum is easy to use and pleasing on the eyes ( even at 2am )

The way the forum works is down to the BB software, Mike is talking about changing the style - logo's, images, colours etc ;)

 

Never been too keen on the colour scheme.

How about a signature pic size limit - they have this on the JapGirls site using the same software as us and if you add a massive image it gets removed automatically. Some of the ones on here are just stupid, up to 1024x768 makes viewing on most office PC's ridiculous!

pretty good idea that. huge sig pics make viewing a bit of a pain sometimes.

Id like the rides section to easier to access along the the personal log. Finding people and cars etc in there is a pain some times.

 

BUT LEAVE the rest be.

the green colour scheme could be improved on but tbh it doesn't bother me. Sig size limit would be a good idea, most of the ones here are ridiculously large. Other than that see what deve8uk said.

The colours and layout on the site are fine as they are imho, Im colour blind so reds and greens are out as far as im concerned.

 

Rides need sorting.

 

Sig pic size need sorting - not everyone has a super fast broadband connection and they can make viewing threads hard work sometimes.

 

More smilies would be cool and they can help to convey the right feeling to a post and "might" stop teddies being thrown so often.

Some sigs are ridiculously large, but most people on here use reasonable sized sig pics. I like them and they brighten up the page, so agree with Allan.

 

Just get the rides thing fixed.....long over due now. The rest is perfect IMHO. All the options chosen on VBB are spot on.
