can you hit top(ish) speeds on some of the roads or is it too windy and risKy.

off on road trip and its either isle of man or germany.

any advice appreciated.

Yes it is poss on the I.O.M. there are a few sections over the mountain of the TT course, just make sure your brakes are A1 and dont drive beyond your capabilities and have fun

Hi mate, yep i live in the I.O.M and yes you can hit some very high speeds if you like. Granted our roads in some sections are rather short compared to the likes of Germany, but am sure you'll enjoy it ;)

btw, top gear often bring cars over here for testing and putting through their paces as do manufactures sometimes when they launch new models and we get about a dozen car clubs visiting each year, so it must me okay for them lot, lol
