I'm organising a day out at Triton Motorsport ( Aviation Park West, Bournemouth International Airport, Christchurch, Dorset,) with Banzai Club to give people a chance to get their cars on the rolling road..... and thought I would post it up here too... incase any of you want to join us - the more the merrier :hyper:

Good chance to see what power your cars are pushing! I've not contacted Triton yet, but according to their website this is included:

A complete health check report, ECU check and Rolling Road Power run with printouts for just £30 + VAT.

However, if we get enough people interested - we may be able to get some sort of club/group discount.... need to contact them once I know numbers and see what they say.

As far as dates are concerned - we have a few shows in June & July.. so I'm thinking the first Saturday of August - give us a bit of time to save a few pennies, do a few tweaks and get some more members interested!

Ah, so after yesterdays visit you're going to be brave and put yours on the rollers then. I won't commit yet but if I get a few more tweaks sorted and get the boost controller stabilised then I might just do it again. :D

Hi Athene

Thank you for your enquiry. We would be happy to host a rolling road day for yourselves and August 4th is available at present. The maximum number of cars would be 25 with the 300 ZX's as they take longer to set up on the dyno. The minimum number would be 15, you could have less but the cost would then be £40 per car.

The maximum power the Dyno can handle is 1200 bhp per axle. The 'health check and report' is only available with a service as stated on our website, but we are more than happy to try and a diagnose any small faults after the dyno run. A Group or club booking is already discounted as a normal power run is usually £50 + VAT.

Look forward to hearing from you.

so a minimun of 15 for the 4th August get yer names down and I'll book!! :D

Thanks Athene

Will be good to have the club here, we'll obviously have the infamous burger van up and running!!!!

No deposit necessary but bare in mind that it's a minimum of 15 cars for that price. You may well want to get a deposit from those that want to attend.

Many thanks

hmmm anyone else reckon they will make it...

Know its ages away... but there is reasoning behind it...

1) enough notice for you to make sure you book this day off for a little meet and get your cars on the RR (maybe afterwards depending what time we finish, we can go have a drink somewhere... )

2) enough notice for you to get your cars together

Remember - you dont have to bring the zed - any car can go on!

Is it right that they do the run in 5th.... Mines slipping a little at full boost in fifth and I don't know if a new clutch will be in by then...

Cav I will email Andy @ Triton and ask him tomorrow...

Pig... Course you can - there will be a few others joining with other Jap cars - not only Zeds .. so bring the BM along...

fo0k yeah... that would be interesting to see!
