Amen to that Si

You only have to look how badly the Mk4 Supra and (sometimes) the 3000GT have aged to see what a great design the 300zx is.

It is a true testament to its design that a car conceived 18 years ago has still got "it" in the 21st century. On the one hand you have the slight late 80s/early 90s brash supercar styling, yet on the other a clean classic wedge shape that emits a certain timeless appeal.

I see various supra's and zed's parked together every day and the mkiv supra looks more updated than the 300zx, stock vs stock....not as attractive, but definatly newer looking.

GTO on the other hand has always been ugly and brash.

So do I actually......... ;)

I have thought about going smooth or 99 spec, and I have to admit 99 spec is probably the best looking, but I still think the stock spoiler suits the lines of the car so decided to leave it alone :D

OK that's 3 of us :D Actually, all that black one needs is to lose the big bore twin and go quad and it 'll be fine

(only kidding - it looks great)

go 99 spec mate. it won't look overly kitted and will look pretty modern too IMO. its the way i'd go if i had the money

does anybody know the best (and cheapest!) place to get a 99 spec front bumper?

Nissan Dealer...or can try MJP to see if he can do it cheaper

Exactly what im saying

I wanted to keep mine fairly subtle , ended up with a Greddy Gracer rear skirt , Wings West looking skirts from Z centre ( which were a pig to fit , but Luke did warn me of this ) I really wanted some smoother looking skirts but couldn,t find any in the time i needed them :headvswal

A 99 front , smooth rear with six pot rear lights :hyper: i think it just adds a bit but not too much :nana2: :nana2:

Yup, nice and subtle there mate!

99-spec is the only visual mod I have (apart from the wheels ;) ) and it does bring the car a little more up to date without going over the top.

Richard :D

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

It may be newer looking but I don't think it has the timeless appeal of the ZX. I think the Supra looks like it belongs firmly in the early 1990s whereas the ZX can fit in anywhere.

However the Supra is a very colour dependent car - anything but silver or gun metal and it looks more dated IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the Supra and I was considering buying one before I bought my ZX. I'm glad I chose the latter, obviously......

I like the stock spoiler. One of the few guys in the UK Z scene that does....which is kinda why I like the US Z scene. They tend to prefer keeping the cars as nature intended with a few minor tweeks. :)

Amen Here ye Here ye~~~~

I cant man because of the turbos im running needed that big so as to not build up backpressure and blow the motor! Thats why I need that big ass 3' exhaust!
