Hey guys

I'm picking up my zed tomorrow and im not sure of the last time it was serviced.

I'm was looking around on the net for a new set of spark plugs.

I found 6x HKS plugs for £80 including delivery..............wots everyone's thoughts?

Is that expensive? Could anymore recommend a cheaper alternative???

I did use HKS and they didn't last long. IMO there's no substitute for the OEM NGK ones.

i know its probably a really stupid question but are they easy to fit i.ve done hundreds of spark plugs on other cars but never on anything like the zed i think i'm just frightened incase they snap in the head cos i dont know when they were last changed

Unplug connectors, undo the 2 bolts on each coilpack and remove and you have access to the plugs. You do however have to remove he balance bar to get to the back two plugs, when doing so just make sure the rubber 0-rings underneath the balance bar dont fall into the plenum when you lift it off.

p.s as above, I would'nt recomend any plugs except the NGK PFR6b-11b's @ £55 set

would it be worth replacing the o-rings too cos i can get some stuff pretty cheap as i'm in the motor trade ya cant beat cheap genuine parts,,, lol
