Im looking to change mine and am looking for some ideas on how to do it please :)

This is what mine looks like at the moment but i dont want to lose the whole boot like I have at the moment and also going to bin the 6x9"s

assssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.jpg

Im losing a lot of bass through the amount of air under the fake floor so will either put them by the inner wheel linings on a frame or just lower the floor and box them under.

Any pictures would be great :) Thanks a million

Now that would just flood my engine with fuel that the engine couldnt use quick enough

Its allready uneconomical enough as it is Mate :D

Here's mine...............of course I do have a shorty :D :D

The sub is a compact, active, unit made by Blaupunkt (140watts) and I have replaced the original 6x4's with MB Quarts.

The boot floor and sub shelf are mdf covered in grey vinyl and the cable entry trim is an old tilt lever one from a seat :D

I also fitted a fire extinguisher and genuine Nissan first aid kit :D along with a "Z" logo boot tidy.

A new targa panel retaining strap was also fitted as well as twin led boot lights and a 12 volt utility socket.

Steve

The two on the left and right hand side are exactly what im after!! Do you know if you can buy the moulds for that ready made or did you have them custom built?

With them on the side it opens up the boot and leaves you plenty of room which is what i dont have at the moment so my boots unusable.

Whats it sound like with them there?

There is a guy in the states that makes some excellent Custom sub boxes for the zed....I will find a link.......

heres mine, sadly the quality isnt as good - but you get the idea.

i think, its the 1st time ive posted this on here too!!!

.....

I'm sure AndyP built a really nice bass enclusure, that was built into the floor of his Zed, but I just can not find the pics of it either being built or the finsihed article. It's very nice as it follows the contours of what is already there.

if I find the pics anywhere, then I'll post them up........... Now I'm sure it was AndyP..... or was it?.......

They were custom made by a company in Co. Durham. Unfortunately, the company has now gone 'Tit's Up'. They do leave plenty of space for roof panels, however, with the large 10" sub I have at the front of the boot, I now cannot fit my roof panels. Still, small price to pay for cracking sound quality. :D

Not mine but I like the idea. It's in a swb.

I like the look of that Filthy Fill!!!..

Liking yours aswell zeegy!!!..

I remember when I had my TT MOT'd, the tester said that if he had been unable to access the lower boot area for inspection, he would have failed the car  He said boot builds need to be easily removable for inspection access

Mind you, he was a bit strict :D

..

.

Does anyone know the diameter and depth of the spare wheel compartment?

Just over the width of a tyre, and about as deep as a 'Get U Home' spare :D

Hang-on, I'll go and measure mine for you :D
