Evening peeps

I have a set of 9.5J 17" rims on the rear of my car - what size tyre would you advise that I fit in there?

The fronts are running 225 45 R17 on a smaller Rim.

I would go 265

I wouldnt.

I have some 255s on a 9.5 17" rim. They are spot on fit . Nice flat tread face all the way across.

IMHO of course!!! ;)

Just got 2 tyres (i think my rims are 9'') and 255/40/17 fit spot on! ;)

BTW,get em' off E-Bay!

i want to get the same as my fronts, some Kumho Ecsta Sports - so will do a mytyres.co.uk order :)

255/40/17 keeps the speedo more or less right and i think 255 are better grip than 265 less skip i find

255 is the best option!

255/40/17 are quite a common tyre size so the prices are not too astronomic and most tyre places have a fair selection of decent brands in stock.

As Pete says, 255s on a 9.5 rim look spot on - I have them also :D

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

He He,guess what 2 I got! :D

I have found for a lot of tyres I have been looking for that mytyres.co.uk are cheap, but I'd also check camskill.co.uk are sometimes cheaper.

I got 265/40/17's and there also spot on but i may go for some 275/35/17's later Lol
