theirs plenty of talk and people who have done it on the search, water bypass is the same as a plenum bypass im assuming cause its them hoses that always tend to burst, esp with me

It's only bypassing the hoses under the plenum, not the heater matrix ones at the back. I did mine but the plenum was off at the time which makes it a bit easier.

In my early days of zedding i paid ztech 300 fookin quid to do mine, plus a 200 mile drive, and i still had to put new turbo water hoses on when i got back.

Have a go yourself I say!

what does bypassing the plenum do?

The plenum is water cooled, well cooled with red hot water from the rad!

It is virtually pointless and when pipes on it start to perish it becomes a ball ache.

By bypassing the water cooling of the plenum, it gives you alot less to go wrong.

its easy to do in situ. just a bit fiddly, if you remove the hoses either side of engine, and take the battery out the job can be done within an hour!

Technically, it's only the throttle bodies that are heated rather than cooled. I guess it's to prevent throttle body icing.

lol i can barely change my car battery, im good with pc's and cable boxes thats it lol

if anyone is willing to do it for me, like i said they will be paid well!

so unless you live in the far north of scotland and drive your zed in sub zero temperatures, not only are you mad, you should also consider not doing a plenum bypass and buy some decent tyres and snow chains instead!
