Halfords are currently running a promotion for a RipSpeed DVD Player. rrp = 300 down to 150 including fitting.

 

It's epic. Screen is a small but works a treat.

Only drawback is that it's a tight squeeze due to the shape of the centre console. Once I get my brushed aluminium dash kit it'll look even better.

 

Picture quality is excellent. For those of us to Lazy to stretch the 6 inches or so to press the buttons there's also a remote..... WHY??? but who cares it's brill..... 150 for a DVD, can't go wrong.

I've had 2 different ripspeed HU's from them - both were taken back, 1 recalled by ripspeed & the other for various technical faults.

 

i bought a Kenwood in the end - hope you have more luck mate.

how can you watch a dvd on that screen anyway! better off buying a decent headunit...

 

though halfrauds arent bad when u have a trade card, 'car servicing' items dirt cheap! they have over a 50% mark up to the average paying customer... one of the worst ones i think i found was a pack of assorted spade connectors, normal price £2.99, trade price 40p!! LoL :xxx:

id rather had a legrath style double din 7" screen like he had in his black Z
