I was just wondering. Ive ploud so much into my car now its a joke, and im still 5-10K away from finishing.

So I was thinking if I sold mine I would have around 14K to spend on an import. (if I broke the car I would have 20K to spend)

you've got a gorgeous looking car there mate and IMO it would be a real pity to break it. also i don't really think a car is ever finished.

14K - very nice Supra, 200SX S14 or S15, Skyline, Integra Type R.

I´d go for a nicely modded 200SX or an almost new DC5 Integra if it was me. Maybe a really good Supra.

i agree! It all depends what you have in mind as a finished project, would you ever find what your looking for as your idea of a finished project in another car?

for that money i would go for an r33 gtr...

but think about it carefully because if your anything like me, you will have it for a few weeks, youll settle into the new community of skyliners or whatever you chose and youll be itching to spend another 10k on mods/tidying up!

if i had the money for a lambo, i garuntee i would still be scrimping as much as poss to modify it! i went through the same thoughts when i sold my last zed... i came to realise that i dont just want a nice looking fast car, i want one a can customise. the zed is a lot of car for the initial money nowadays so provides a perect base to modify from... it wont cost you any less to modify your new car to how you want it...

just a thought and another perspective!

You could get yourself a very nice thai bride for that amount  ;)

dont think you would get an nsx for that money would you?

Start at 15k in the UK, less if imported yourself

My vote is to keep the zed though !

You can get yourself a South Yorkshire bride for a quarter of that. lol  ;)

Ahhh BUT her dad is a multi millionaire so I'm sorted for life

Ergh, don't get an Evo. Get something as exotic looking/sounding as the Z. I'd try and go for an NSX.

Either that or an S15. The only two Jap cars other than the Z32 that I'd look at.

Skyline is up there with them though. But only in GTR format.

s15

You'd pay that for your sis?

Actually its £8k :x: sorry

Although You could easily spend less than £1k for a high quality interior retrim !

and I know others that have had a decent custom rollcage for about £500

Depending on what wheels you want there are plenty of 19's out there with rubber for £1k-£1.5k

so thats saved £2.5k - £3k already :D

I like Jap cars and they are unbelievable value for money, but why do you only want jap, there are a few euro cars that could be bought for that money?

I'll get my coat now :D

yep, rebuild for when it blows up!!!

just get an r33 and be done. All depends what you want from a car though.

Aye then pay £6k on a rebuild when the big ends go :x: ;)

Unfortunatly the project as some know is to break 200mph so everything on/in the car has to be up to scratch.

The interior, well I know I can get a basic kit, but I dont want to replace part of it, I want teh whole lot done.

The rubber I need, well at teh planned speed it aint worth looking for cheap and chearfull as my lifes worth more than that.

The funny part is I have everything except the wheels and the interior. The roll cage is going to be done properly as its going to be for go and show second.
