Can't believe it. I searched all over the US but found it here in Stockholm!

These were the last 2 titanium keys in Sweden.

There was one big problem though...they were already cut!

I compared them to my key and in only one spot the key was cut a bit deeper than mine.

I took the chance... Got them for half the normal price (2 keys for ~$100).

I went to a lock smith and he said it wouldn't work...I said I'll try anyway...

Got home and with a shaking hand inserted the key and turned it NO PROBLEM!! Woohoo!

It fits all the locks on the car!

Guess today is my lucky day :-)

Here's a pic:

The funny thing is that I've got the key replica from

that "F8..." guy at tt.net and I don't need it anymore.

Anybody interested? (it's still not cut of course)

Cheers,

Maciej

how much for the relica?

I got it for $100 (+ VAT) so I think $80 is fair.

I just got it a month ago so it's as good as new...

im always seeing referances to these elusive keys. can someone tell me what the big deal is with them as all that money for what looks to be nothing more than a key is strange or is there something that this key does im baffled

I got mine with the car! I dont use it though - I had a spare cut from it...maybe I should swap it back!!! They look very nice though!

I thought we all had one, mine came with the car. mind you so did the women.

Tanks to who did you got it

Yup, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have got them.
