....and I'm amazed at how many zed owners there are in there 20's. I always had the Z down as an older mans car because of insurance and repair costs etc. How wrong you can be eh?? :rolleyes:

im 24 I had to get a loan for my first decent car (celica GT) and traded up from there.

No doubt tho if I wasnt still at home I wouldnt be able to keep the Zed, I do £220 a month on insurance alone, and 60 mile round trips to work

Im in your boat mate, live at home, pay a fortune in insurance, sacrafice some social life for the Z and work every hour god sends. Do it while your young thats wot i say.

sometimes its a struggle but i don't winge about it cos i expected it.

all these people who by a big performance car and then say" i didn't think it would be this bad on fuel" or breaking my z because i can't afford to fix the ....... should have really looked into it before buying one!

study,buy, enjoy, dont winge and maintain.

I still live with my mum (i was 21 two weeks ago) and plan too until i get through the rest of my gas training (should hopefully be all Corgi'd up by this time next year!).

Then i'l be on a decent wage and not apprentice money :rolleyes:

I just saved hard, worked overtime becuase it was the car i knew i had to have, well i suffered a 1.0l AX for nearly 4 years so i thought i deserved it :p

i had my zed just after my 19th birthday an been payin 170 a month on insurance since i bought it with money ive ernt my self an payed for every thing my self so dont think me old man bought it for me lol! im a truck mechanic so my wage aint all that!! where theres a will theres a way an i still got pennys to have a life lol!!!!!
