Hello all,

Does anyone have one of these fitted to their z, or no even if they are available for the zed

Featured Replies

they do make them for the Z ....You have to order it out of Apexi USA ....I called them up and they told me what they do is reconfigure a r33 Rb25 Power FC for it to be plug and play into the Zed ...cost was $900USD or i suppose you you can buy a RB25 power fc and a patch harness and reconfigure it so the Zed hareness plugs into the Power FC via the Patch Harnesss

I nearly did it but the skyline one does connect straight up but it does not control all the zeds functions and cannot be configured to either so yes it can be used but to be honest its not worth it with all the other ecu's you can now get ie aem or emerald etc

not to sure about that aem one, ive had a few mixed responses to that, some say its ok but a couple of tuners i have spoken to say its worth about " £9.50 " lol. So still undecided, dont really wanna go down the piggy back route. I'll have a look into this emerald one ( not heard of it to be honest) I know that haltech do them and they are supposed to be good but someone will probably say otherwise, also there is a perfect power xms or a eurotronic one i think, i suppose i'll have to do abit more looking into it before i purchase anything, but suggestions are most welcome.

hmmm well the AEM is based on a gems ecu which one of he best around and at the moment its one of the only ones which is true plug and play, you can always go omex or motec if funds allow and mac1 has the dta system on his but again its not a cheap route!! all depends on how far your wanting to go with regards to power??

i contacted emerald as they are really local to me and they said it wouldn't be suitable for my car for some reason.

So i went with a Aem but it's still in the box waiting to be fitted like everything else lol.
