I think it was the old bridgestones that had a rim protection skirt, do any others have this feature?

Featured Replies

dunlops do, I think they were SP2000's that were on the old rims and they had them.

I can also tell you that Pirelli P-zero's do not have this.

I have Falkan 452s on the back of mine, 265 on a 9.5" wheel and I'm not happy with the them, they look like they could be 2" wider.

No protection at all.

Have got to admit, would like a bit more of a grippy tyre than falken!

Dunlop SP Sport 9000 and Goodyear GSD3 both have rim protectors.

They are both very good tyres too - but the Dunlops will last longer......

......I have the latter (after having Goodyears) and they've lasted very well so far; plus I've not had any wayward rear end moments yet either :x:

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
