When I took my dash out

There was a sensor on the window blower vent on the pass side. Looked like a light sensor, but what uses it?!?!?!?!?

    Its a sun load detector for the AC system :)

    Hi Rodders, that might be a connection for an oil pressure gauge (think thats the type, whatever isn't in the pod). When I got the other ones done Chris Greddy sent me a couple of wrong gauges and he had also supplied a sandwich plate that didn't fit. I said I'd keep the wrong gauge and he was supposed to send me the correct one but it didn't happen! I was going to get the extra one fitted into the vent. The garage did what they could but could only wait for Chris to send the correct bits for a few days before I had to have the car back.

    Its what Andy said, not for a gauge.

     

    All the AC stuff has gone now, ripped out the AC rad too from inside the car. Weighs a fooking ton!!!!
