Well my patience has been tested and i think it's gone with the purple nasty.

I just don't think i want to chuck any more money at it :(

i've spent nearly 2000 on it in the past couple of months and now it needs even more work doing.

I think i'm going to break it cause it's worth naff all.

I'll have a think about it first but to be honest it's been on my mind for a while now, the terrible fuel economy as a day to day car, the fact i never really get to drive it like i should do and the endless problems with the suspension especially the HICAS

I should have never sold my NA, it was bombproof, and ever since i've had this car its in a much much worse state of repair, the interior's cack and the first mot it went for cost me 620 quid.

Doomed from the start, so could be the end of zed ownership for me folks :(

Get a daily drive bunny! You're zed will stay off the road during bad weather, petrol will be cheaper, less maintainance, everyones a winner! I thought I had some problems with my Rx7 (turned out to be nothing but a kinked hose, but it might have been worse!), I had so much going on and no money, that I didn't want to worry about so it just lived in the garage for the last 6mths and I used my bmw instead. Now that things have calmed down a bit the car has come out of the garage, realised there was nothing actually wrong with it anyhow (!) , and now I am in a position to be able to drive it again and havn't drove it in shit winter weather so its just as good nick as is was last summer :-)

ill agree with alot of what has been said.

I wish i'd never sold my zed and just kept it in storeage until i could have afforded to fix it, and never sold it. I suppose you could always say that you could get another one, but when youve put so much time into the one youve already got, the next one wont feel "the same" until youve hadto put the same amount of work into it. Without that work you will never be able to happily say, thats my car and i know every wingley qerk and obscurity that it has

all the best what ever you decide, but id keep it!

if you need a set of springs, i think i have a standard set lurking about sumwhere, yours for free if ya want them :)

I have just replaced my springs and shocks as well so as long as J the gun has still got them kicking around and a SWB set will fit then they are yours. I will even bring them up as long as we can go for a curry again.

The wheel alignment shouldn't cost too much as long as you have adjustable arms on the front and should be the first thing to do before you get the new tyres.

Let me know if there is anything I can do buddy.

As soon as my hicas light came on I bought the stillen bar and fitted it myself,

then done the 4 wheel allignment. Cost me £130. That's that sorted.

No more hicas bs :mac1: Plus the weight saving = less fuel consumption ;)

And is it really worth getting rid of her now that you've spend all that money on her,

you're only going to buy another car with problems that you'll have to fix all over again!

Just fix her up and she will be perfect yet again.

Get it sorted ;)
