My neighbour took me to a Subaru arranged rolling road day. Very interesting but I could not be persuaded to see how big mines was Z wise - had visions of a big bang or something terrible happening in front of these Subaru guys. They also had EvoVI and P1s etc with over 300hp and typically 70bhp lost in the transmissions. Anybody know what a good Z does auto vs manual and how the modded ones fare? My neigbours chipped decated modded intake and special exhaust Scooby felt incredibly fast had 265lbft torque yet only 30bhp over standard on the rolling road. Its sad guys checking how big their's is isnt it?

My 1990 Auto TT 'z' got 230bhp at the wheels the other week. Apparently this is about 5-10 bhp over standard. (decatted&green panel filters)

The guy in the garage said that typically you loose roughly 30% in the transmission.

I'm aiming for 300 at the rear wheels, then will cease plowing cash into the 'go faster' mods. ;)

Here are lots of 'Dyno-charts' of several Z32's...stock, TT's, NA's, modified, etc.
