Im still searching for a zed, and have come across this on the trader.

i agree thats what they SHOULD be worth, but we all know theyre not. If anyone one with a zed crashes one and god forbid its written of theyre is no way on this planet an insurance company is going to payout that sort of money.

Maybe a little bit, but if the car is a minter with that mileage, then £5 - £6k doesn't seem out of the realms of possibility. Not as if it's an Auto or anything.

Would you believe the milage on an import? the only way i would is if it has been certificated.

 

If it is a minter then maybe. And he probably will shift it for that price, but i think it will be to someone who doesnt know alot about zeds. Reading it, in the cold light of day, its got nothing more than a body kit wheels chip and exhaust. In my eyes, even if its a minter, with the current market for zeds its a bit overpriced.

 

BUT thats only my opinion, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it

iv worked on that car, fairly tidy, velour interior, but it still is a series 1! rear seats are still tweed IIRC.

Shame really coz it seems like a nice motor, but im really after a series 2 black LWB TT, theyre just dont seem to be any about!

i actually enquired about that car when i was looking to get zed - i wasnt gonna pay for than 4500 - he wanted min 5000grand - glad i didnt because the one i found i think was much better suited for me. it was on ebay at one point

Greg, not that i dont belive you bud, but if you look at picture 6 the back seats look velour to me. Something i have noticed on that photo, If you look at the door where the plastic cap is missing on the door trim. If i remember correctly thats where the bolt for the seatbelt is hidden on the series 1. Did the series 2 still have this little cap??

im probably confusing it with another 300, however i have definatly worked on it at ztech on a couple of occassions, nice car in the flesh, body mods are subtle and the gold wheels go well with the black

 

owner looked after it well to, and its manual rocking horse shit these days aswell! worth 4-5k but no more IMO

Cheers bud, i just dont want a nasty suprise like the last zed when i found out what year the car really was. you probably remember. I just want to make sure that im buying what i think im buying.

 

I suppose the only way around that is to buy a UK model

I know of a s2 black j spec lwb tt for sale here in bristol.greg knows the car as well.it belongs to Sasha.its a manual with dragger exhaust,advan wheels,fmic,apexi safc,hks f con ecu and some under bonnet bling.she wants good money for it but a nail it aint.if your interested i can give you her number.

Dependant on the condition of the interior (if standard). I knew mine was low mileage when I bought it as there is no wear at all on the driver's seat and the rest of the interior is in fantastic condition. You can tell if mileage is likely to be genuine if you look at the car as a whole. Have seen some hangers though, with what says is low mileage, but is actually a load of *****cks.

it was imported and registered in birmingham. i think it was from a place calles birmingham import centre (my mates garage)

the problem is the amount of rust on uk cars! on most not all!

 

you either buy one with previous owner taking great care of it! ie... from here.

 

or as jimmer said jump on sashas car you wont regret it, very tidy allround.
