the revs on my n\a were all over the place on tic over so i changed the tbu for a re conditioned 1 .this hasnt solved the problem much.

i did only change the half of the unit ............the non electrical side.

could it b the other side thats giving me problems

Throttle bodies

Probably idle valve (9). Clean the throttle bodies instead - 22 on the above pic, one on each side - do both

26 or 27 are the connectors for the passenger side O2 sensor and the passenger side VTC solenoid?

when i changed this it was right be side the battery which i had to take out.

it was a right ******* to remove and it was around the area of 27 , 26 and 9, albeit, under them

ok just dug out the invoice and its down as a aux air valve.

so clean the throttle bodies instead??

thats what i thought i was doing b4.

give it go tomorrow.....any tips

Tip - while the boost hoses are off, leave them on a radiator in your house to keep them warm and flexible ;)
