I have the cruise control button on my right pod, but an aftermarket momo stearing wheel, so no buttons to activate it! is there anyway I can get it back? as it would be quite handy!

Yeah, get a spare steering wheel, pop the controls out, cut a small hole next to the clock and mount it there, should be able to make it look semi-factory. It's something I'm gonna do eventually. Just a case of lengthening the wires to reach the loom behind where the old slip ring was.

The other option which I'm looking at is getting hold of the switch gear from a US spec car with airbag. You gain an paddle and the indicator paddle swaps sides. Looks neat.

Sweet, are the wires easy to get to? what have you done with the horn as well? mine isn't hooked up!

I dunno. Not had the column shroud off yet. You need the correct boss for the horn to work. What steering wheel is on there at the moment?

just some momo one at the mo fitted by some previous owner, ill have to have a look for the mot

Mine's a MOMO. Make sure the horn is working pre-steering wheel though. Could be an other issue with it rather than incorrect boss/slip ring issue.

You wont need the cruise control soon, when you convert it to a manwell!

cruise control still works after the conversion so should be all good, I'm probably going to enjoy her for the summer, then do the box next winter

Mine's bracketed onto my Veilside wheel, just trimmed the switch down, whole unit just plugs in.

ring mike at MJP in the traders sec. he does a bose that has the cruise controls on it around the centre of the horn. then just grinde down the Momo bagde an stick it back in the middle of the horn.
