i have a non turbo which i belive to be restricted to 112mph,

i have since brought the rev delimiter to fit behind the clocks so as the clocks will then be changed to mph

the question is , if i buy a set of original clocks for a non turbo with 300 kmh on them will this do the same job as the delimiter , as in the car will have better performance

i really need kmh instead of mph

the clocks i have r jap import and only go to 180 kmh

thanx

 LOL

when you fit the delimiter it will probably convert the kph to mph

Yes, if you fit the speedo convertor it will make the 180kph speedo read 180mph and the speed limiter will be raised to approx 180mph too.

Getting the ECU chipped will remove the speed limiter

If you fit the 300kph clocks it won't remove the limit.

If you fit the chip behind the clocks it will change the speedo to MPH. Depending on what chip you fit it may or may not delimit the car.

I had great problems in doing this and ended up getting UK clocks for the mph and a new chip in the ECU to delimit it.

I found this was the best way in the end as I spent a fiar bit of money trying to sort this problem. I eventually sorted it with the help of andyP and one of his chips so he will be your man.
