Anybody in the South West that knows how to adjust front upper and lower arms??

Just been to Protyre to have my front upper and lower adjustable arms and they said they have never seen these arms before and how do they work?

In the end the said some other bits and peices need doing before it can be adjusted??

Looking for somebody in the southwest that knows about suspension and arms in the Southwest.

Cheers.

i assume u have installed adjustable camber arms? :x:

Yeah, and now they can be adjusted with these arms nobody knows how to do it :smash:

as far as i could tell when i helped fit these for yampiedog they are your bog standard centre adjustment... a squared off section in the middle and 2 opposing threads so you can wind them in or out, iirc you just undo the 2 allen bolts that clamp the assembly. for the lower and rear adjusters you simply undo the lock nut and wind out the eye end to suit :)

this is all based on the type that smithys sells but i assume they are all similar.

take them to paul@swz im sure he will be more than willing to help

take it to a crash repair specialists. They will set it up on a jig so that all of the numbers are right. They'll welcome adjustable arms - it'll make their job easier.

Did mine this way when I replaced all of the suspension. Charged me £64.

...and no fuss or *****cks.

Good luck
