I want to change the standard head unit in my Z for a Kenwood one. Can you get an adapter for this or if not does antone have a wiring diagram image for the iso plug on the z so i know what wires are what????

yes, you can get adapters. cost me about a tenner IIRC. available from any good ICE stockist

oh, & get a connector for the aerial lead - a solder one cost about 50p. cut the old end of & solder the 2 leads to the new connector :)

Can't say that it'll be 100% accurate, as there are various factors to be taken into account. But it does seem to be fairly accurate to most people. Please note this was taken from my 1992 JSpec import, just ignore the Pioneer bit in there, as i did it for my old head unit initially.

Cant remember if its Kenwood or Alpine, but one of them has the 12v perminent, and 12v ignition feeds wired differently to everyone else!!

think it's kenwood cos i remember having to swap the wire's over but they thought of this because the 2 wires have bullet connectors half was down thre wires, just unplug and swap over, no cutting or soldering involved!
