Hi guys,

I'm in the process of searching for either a apexi avcr or profec B spec II for my car.

The zed already has the following mods... trust ik, blitz access computer (ecu), kakimoto cat back twin system, remote oil filter kit, ngk platinum plugs.

What i'm not sure about is what to do with the ecu. Obviously with more boost it will need ajustments in the mapping.

A guy on a thread (sorry not sure what his name was) was saying that my blitz access computer should be setup to allow more boost as they are generally quite aggressive anyway. So as long as the boost controller is setup properly and diagnostics run to show if the engine is running fine....then there will be no need for a new chip/remap?

Can anyone comment on the above?

What kind of power will I roughly be looking at with the above mods and what kind of psi can I run the car at?

Advice appreciated.

Correct, you wouldn't alter a chip in an ECU just becuase of fitting a boost controller. Your ECU should be goodn for all mods right up to the point of bigger injectors.

AndyP and John Dixon can look at your ECU's maps and tell you what they think as well, for a small fee possibly :)
