Right guys 'n gals I'm currently in the process of putting together a photo shoot.

 

I have the use of a model, a photographer for the day and we have a location.

 

What I NEED to know is.... Who's interested in a (female) model posing with their Zed?? :D

 

 

Now this won't be a freebie, it'll cost, but the more GUARANTEED members that are up for it, the cheaper it'll be for all. But, like I've said, I need to know names. The location in the centre of the Midlands, so I'm sorry if you're up in Scotland or the opposite direction, but I'm trying to keep it central.

 

Date wise........ This Sunday, 10th June.

The only suggestion I can make is Bentwaters airstrip, there was a lot of unused hangers when I went to a carshow held there last year but unfortunately it is far from central for everyone (Woodbridge in Suffolk). If you want me to see if its possible to use it then I will try and make some phone calls, just let me know, Richard.

 

ps I am still interested just need a date so I can be certain I can attend.

Yeah, still interested if it's gonna be in the midlands - so long as we don't end up taking photos in a Maccy D's carpark or summat :)

So far guys 'n gals, Matt (Stangman) has given some good suggestions, and I've asked him to chase some of them up, which he's doing at the moment.

This may well put the shoot date back further into the summer, instead of late May/early June, but we'll see. After all, if it ends up being an outside shoot, then we may as well get as good weather as we can.

The other reason why I suggested May/June, was so that the photo's could be ready early enough for a possible 2008 Club Calendar, but so far I've heard nothing from any of the clubs representatives, so i think that'll be out of the window. It did seem like a good idea, but then again, it wasn't suggested by certain members of the 'In crowd' so you can think as to whatever you want on that one!!

Dont mind what part of the year Dave it will just be nice to have it done for a keepsake, and if I ever see my car on the "club" calender it will be a shock.

Quick Update: I am working on the options I talked to Dave about but nothing concrete yet, will keep you posted! Work getting in the way of real life as usual :rant:

Right, we have a total of 17 members going to this (ones dropped out, which is a shame, but I do understand) Do we have another 3 members that would like to attend to make it a nice round 20?

It is a very central location (apparently only a few miles away from the official centre of the UK!!), which is located near Tamworth. Also the date that has been agreed is Sunday 10th June. It includes indoor and outdoor locations and, of course, we have Stacy!! :D :bow:

There is also a possibility that we may even receive coverage from one of the leading UK Jap car mags, which will be fantastic if it can happen.

Please let me know ASAP.

I'll be contacting the 'venue' on Monday to confirm for sure.

I will be requesting, at the beginning of May, a deposit from all those taking part, this is to simply secure everyones spot, and so that members are less likely to 'drop-out' at the last minute, thus costing everyone else more money, if you see what I mean.

I'm leaving this until the beginning of May so that if anyone else wants to join in I can divide the costs up between all the members attending (hopefully 20 of us) so hopefully by then I should have some idea of the full costs involved.

Actually hell i'm designing the thing so i can say what looks best where ;) :rofl: lol

 

I'll have the new wheels and new front bumper on by then so all being well it should look the muts nuts for the shoot fingers crossed :D

Todays update....

 

Well there are three yet to confirm one way or the other and two spaces to make it up to (at least) 20 in total.
