I beleive this is what he was banned for, approaching people to tout his business when he was not an official trader. Glad to see he still does it, all this does is justify his lifetime ban bwahahah..

Make sure you check all your body parts are still there whan you get it back

I spent over £2000 pounds at least getting my car fixed after he supposedly fixed it

Because of the closeness of Zedworld to this guy and wanting sorting out smart like with a visit to home as well, I TOLD HIM !!

I'd just like to say that I have had my car in at Zedworld just after I got it 3 times and it came back brilliant every time. The items he sorted are still holding up 3+ years down the line. I also know he wasn't this good with everyone.

tbh there was no mention by smithy that he used the PM system to contact SWBZ.

 

SWBZ supplied a telephone number and smithy could have phoned him for all we know so i dont personally think this contravines the AUP.

In all fairness everyone I just want to get my car fixed Ive payed two insurance premiums so far of £400 and drove around the block a few times, when it worked. Jeff whether you like him or not has borrowed me some stuff to see if I can fix it. the bits hes borrowed me the ecu is now happy theres no fault codes but the damn thing has no spark.

Several of us are trying to help you mate but unless you follow a logical "fault elimination path" you will struggle to even find the fault let alone cure it.

Ive already tried the first 4 coils and it makes no difference changing them around etc no spark dont worry slick pete I know exactly what Im doing it just doesnt help the main sympton I have is the car has only failed to start since I pushed the plug on properly on the PTU and cleaned it I now have a second ptu but no difference so the only thing left now is some wiring some where has broke but on first inspection the wiring looks perfect. or I have a second duff ptu.

 

it also doesnt help the ecu is returning code 55 at least before it had 3 fault codes

 

itll be broke for spared unless the laptop check brings up something

So no spark at any plug.

Move one step back.

Any output from the PTU???

check all outputs.

No output means moving back the next step to check input.

Output all present means fault lies between PTU and coil packs

Input to PTU present but no output means PTU is faulty.

Ok some kind of success the car has decided to fire up I just pulled a ta few things in the engine bay

 

the centre two cylinders have no spark so it is running on 4 cylinders but better than noubt

 

the chances of 2 coils being down are low

 

so now Im left with wiring prob

 

or spark plugs so fuel soaked there not clearing even after 15 mins revving up

May be a low chance but in any logical test procedure you need to eliminate the possibility by swapping them with known good ones.

Then work down the wire route to the PTU and beyond.

One logical test at a time will always(eventually!) lead to the problem.

ok now only 1 coil is missing

 

when you take the plug and coil out it sparks like a mad man so that tells me theres no fuel getting in to the middle drivers side cylinder.

 

sometimes it starts to run perfect etc for a second but as soon as you rev etc it starts to play up again

the injector connections seem ok

You now need a Noid light to check for a signal at that injector.

Simple test and one that Andy Duff told me about recently. so I bought a set.
