Wasted all morning going backwards and forwards with the likes of Halfords and Eurocarparts trying to get a decent battery for the z.

 

Anyone got any ideas?

 

I've got 2 amps running my sound system so want quite a strong one that fits.

just measure your old one and go to your local care spares

Hcc005 - 585 Cca halfords will do the trick ,fits ,

loads of power had one for about 3years

I got the biggest battery from Halfords that would fit in the battery bay. It was 720amps. It easily exceeds the minimum general and crank ampage needs of my tt zed. Cost £70.

 

General things with batteries is to keep an eye on the acidic stuff that can come out. If there is some white powder around the battery this has happened. In an old naffster Ford Orion i had a battery that leaked and eated through a metal panel that needed welding work.

Halfords wanted £94.00 when I needed mine. I got a heavy duty from my local garage for £55.00 and its been fine.

Holy crap! I didn't know they had any that powerfull.

 

I've tested mine and when fully charged it's only showing 190 amps!

yeah i got a high amp one too but can't remember what it was

I bought an 096 model-I think thats a standard part ref across all makes and it runs just fine(been on 12 mnth now)
