Hi guys, Took the car to get MOT'd Yesturday and their was a few minor things that need to be delt with but what really worries me is my high CO Emmisions. The Max is 3.50% and I got a wopping 9.13% which is obviously a fail by far.

The car passed the other 3 tests which were HC - Max is 1200ppm and I got 550ppm, Idle speed and Smoke level also passed.

But what can be done about the CO emmisions? The car HAS been de-catted but is very good on petrol.

The car had a major service and cambelt change at Zworld which covered the usual oil change, conzults, spark plugs etc on the 26th August 06 And since then all we have done is fitted blitz DV's.

Any thoughts welcome guys.

Regards

Rob

If you do a search mate there's a way around that at the MOT place. I think you remove the small pipe to the fuel regulator (not deffo, so check). That does seem quite high though. Are you sure everything is as it should be? I take it Jeff checked all the sensor readings with the conzult?

ps - love your sig! she's very tasty!

id check your O2 sensors first, also temp sensors in case the ECU thinks its in permenant cold start!!

that is waaaaaaaaaaay too high!! LOL!

Smoke Level
