Spoke to the chaps over at the automatic gearbox specialists, my gearbox had completely burnt out so they are fitting a new one for me which is going to cost me an arm and a leg literally (£1800 inclusive of VAT), then the zed is going back to the regular garage to have the oil leak and the remaining water leaks fixed then after that it SHOULD be happy motoring.. you may think i am a fool for spending this kind of money on a car i bought for £1250 but i love it too much and its a minter apart from these faults and it was definitely too good to scrap!, they said it will be ready to be picked up next week from Hove so I will go and take it to the garage round the corner and get my heating fixed as well as the water and oil leaks!
