i prefer the uk plate shape, makes the car look wider... besides, its goin for a full respray soon and i will do all the flushing myself so effectively what ever i do will be free :)

If I had the money I would do excactly the same. Just do it, it is the ultimate back end - uk plate no stuck in after thought fog lights. All you need to do is convert one of thr reversing lightd to a fog. I expect that was your intention anyway!

If it's an easy enough job I may save up some pennies and get you to do me one!!

im currently in the process of making led lights for my clusters so i will make the top 2 super bright led reverse lights and the bottom 2 fogs... cant wait to actually see where i am going at night in reverse! your right its not a particularly hard job to craft, but it will be quite time consuming. il let you know :)

Forgot to say - get rid of the rear wiper while you're at it!

Andy

looking at my sig pic now i have to agree with you about the rear wiper, it would be an improvement without it... photoshop time :p

be a shame to lose it as its quite an important and functional part of the car, i use it fairly regulary... il see how it looks...

yeah this is really growing on me now...

Well if you're doing all that get the 99spec rear lights and it'll look very cool :D

i agree matey. not sure on the final cost of the lights yet though, its only gonna be the cost of the leds and resistors, but there are a lot of them! i am having to buy several different types to get the right brightness so it will work out priceyer for me than it should. it wont be very expensive though for the crisp look it gives, however, you cant beat the 99spec clusters for the ultimate look and then its whether or not you have big enough danglies to butcher your brand new... rather expensive lumps of plastic!

Ok Mate keep me informed!!

On mine I am going to to do a amber to white conversion with the lenses and do the reversing lights clear at the bottom and RED at the top!!

Apache kindly donated a set of red lenses in exchange for a pint!! (nice one mate).

This will help to give a wide and more uniform look as it will extend the red section further into the centre of the car!!!

Could you photo shop my rear end for me? just so I can see?!

If you want I may have some red lense left over for you if you want.

Andy

will do andy.

rich... how do you do change the colour change like that but keeping the natural light differences in the colour?

Image - adjustment - channel mixer to get it to a rough red, then used image - adjustment - selective colour to tweak it...

Rich

Oh, should add that i taught myself, so it's quite possibly not the best/ quickets way! ;)

I thought the same thing when I first got my Zed.

It's the obvious way it should be i.e. top half of the centre panel being the fog lights and the bottom two for the reversing lights.

Never understood why Nissan didn't do it that way from the start.

Ah well, if only they'd asked.

done some photoshops of 2 more options.

the idea of the fog on top to match the red and the rev on the bottom is good in theory but looking at it from this ps im not so sure, it might grow on me...

that got me thinkin that it might look good with the centre blacked, from this it came out as a no no...

im thinking just the standard centre panel from the 99spec tbh :)
