Apart from the 300zx of course, the cossies have gone up, escort cossie as well, but what are the others lurking about that would not drain your wallet on resale?

the R32's are getting more expensive than R33's in this country and even more so in japan so i would guess a really low mileage example will only rise in price

The Merc Cossie is a classic but for some reason im having trouble selling mine......too many time wasters, it needs work done on it but for what im asking for it, its gotta be a frickin steal.....

Fas

i remember when mk2 escorts used to change hands for £100, now if you have a 2 door model its worth 2k+ depending on condition.

don't laugh, but when I was looking for an old mk4 or mk5 cortina as the base for my westfield, I was hard pushed to find one for less than £1250! I thought they would be £50 bangers by now!

I have got to admit I was surprised to see mini's going for 5-6k

I'm not, one of the best value holding cars you can get. You tend to get back what you pay into them as well.

Ours cost a grand, we've spent a grand and with a bit of tidying it'd be worth 3

Practical classic magazine have a feature called "future classics" They have had really odd cars like mk1 toyota mr2, volvo 480es, vauxhall omega, mazda mx5 to name a few. late 80's early 90's BMW 7 series, alpina a610's are going for rock bottom prices at the mo, and they are sure to go up in value. Jensen interceptors are cheap as chips. depends if you want old (50's-70's) or new (80's-00's). I'm pretty sure I have a list of future classics somewhere. I will dig it out for you if I can find it.

my lotus, got for approx 4k now worth after assesment almost 15k on insurance.

200SX don't seem to be dropping too much these days - but they're still going down in value.

Not much appreciates if you actually use it rather than store it.

E30 M3 maybe? That's a guess anyway....

Well we've still got another two years of mass production Jspec Zeds to be unleashed on us yet so I don't see the humble Z32 going up for a while. About 2012 when the last made to order Z's become available. They will be desirable and the price of whats left will start to go up. Espesially the very rare unmolested standard cars.

corrolla ae86 gt rear drive coupe

seen one in the Yellow/blue paper for 1 grand or nearest offer about 4 months ago, 80k miles fsh, small patches of rust on arches.........sounded too good to be true, phoned the guy who told me he sold it the previous day, the day before the paper went on sale for 800 quid!!!!!! :slap: :slap: .

He thought it was too a guy working at the paper.............. i then told him of the price they were selling at currently because i was pissed off  that i couldn't buy it!

the guy probably cries himself to sleep at night when he thinks that he sold a car worth at least 4-5k for 800quid

Why are those corrollas worth so much now? Is it just because they're in initial d and loved by drifters?

Vauxhall Carltons/Senators (Straight 6's) & Ford Sierra's as showing early signs of prices going up. Probally due to their replacements being either A boring looking (mondeo) or just plain rubbish (omega V6)
