450 @ 0.9? Doubt it! What weight have you put into the thing?

maybe the gauge is iffy then its an apexi power gauge and has a control unit in front of the ecu also the ecu has a sticker on it saying geniuine REMANAFACTURED ecu what does it mean REMANAFACTURED also it seems like the evc is pulling the car back as i get close to the redline i can here the overboost warning noise at about 5500rpm and it pulls it back as i said its set to 0.9 kg/cm2 iits got a few different settings/modes and i dont really know how to set it up if anyone could shed light on any of these points i would be gratefull .

You can download the manual from apexi's site but I wouldn't go messing with the settings it's pretty complex.

It's to set up the fueling and if you go changing it without knowing exactly what you're doing you could quite easily destroy your engine :o

I've got the series 2 version on mine.

The power meter is probably OK but is dependant on you setting some information I think.

I've got the Blitz Power Meter and on that you have to enter the cars weight like Andy said.

It works out the power you are putting out from knowing how much power is required to accellerate a given weight in a set time.

So if the car hasn't been weighed (with driver and average amount of fuel etc) and the correct figure put in then the reading will be wrong.

Remanufactured ECU will mean it's been chipped in some way.

Are there any tuning company logo's on it? You might have to open it up and see what's written on the ROM chip to find out.

It's pulling back as it's hitting the boost limiter and dropping the boost so it doesn't overboost.

There's usually a limit cut setting that sets how much it drops by when it hits the limit.

If its set to cut too harshly then you'll notice it as pulling back like you're getting.

It should really just drop back a bit so it's not noticeable as you're driving but so it stops the boost going too high.

Remaufactured doesn't mean its been chipped - it means it was once faulty but they've repaired it, more than likely with a new board..
